Bosky Highlight – RUNTZ x GMO
This cross was bred by Double D Genetics out of Seattle, Washington, combining a Runtz female with a GMO male. On paper alone, it brings together two distinct personalities. Runtz contributes sweetness and brightness, while GMO delivers depth, funk, and unmistakable gas.
In the room, she stretches with confidence. The plant prefers to grow tall during transition and demands thoughtful canopy management. As she sets, elongated calyxes begin to finger outward across the bud sites, giving the buds a sculpted, slightly wild appearance as resin builds. Despite the GMO influence, she doesn’t drag out her finish like many GMO-dominant plants tend to. She wraps up on a more manageable timeline while still carrying that heavy backend character.
The finished flower is extremely sticky, dank, and resinous. Sweet, slightly putrid gas pushes forward immediately, with layered sweetness riding underneath. Both sides of the cross show themselves clearly in the final expression without overpowering each other.
