Marshmallow OG x Sour OG

Marshmallow OG x Sour OG is a Crockett Family Farms cross with real old-school weight behind it. The seeds were gifted to us by our good friend Chris, who was managing Cookies Fresno at the time. They came from Crockett’s 2025 crosses, bred here in the Sierra foothills above the Central Valley, which makes the story even better: California genetics, passed through good people, rooted in a region that has quietly helped shape some serious cannabis history.

Crockett is someone we have looked up to for years, not just as an amazing breeder, but as a true visionary for the cannabis community. His work carries that rare mix of preservation and progression, keeping the soul of older genetics alive while still pushing them into new territory.

With Marshmallow OG as the female and Sour OG as the male, this cross is gas first, gas second, and gas all the way through, with just a faint sweetness tucked into the backend. Marshmallow OG brings a soft, creamy edge beneath the fuel, while Sour OG drives the profile into sharper OG funk, sour earth, and heavy gas. Together, they create a true blend of the old-school OGs and Sours from the 90s: loud, nostalgic, fuel-soaked, and built with purpose. It has that pre-smartphone kind of funk, when weed was louder than every late 90s ringtone and clung to a Ziploc like it was glued to the bag.

We are still watching it develop, but the foundation is already there: structure, depth, gas, and that throwback quality that feels less like nostalgia and more like a reminder of why these old OG and Sour families still matter.
