What U Smokin On #11

This month, we’re handing the spotlight to Jason, one of our cultivators, and his pick for “What U Smokin’ On” is Z-Pie (Georgia Pie x Z).

Jason loves Z-Pie for two reasons: it’s one of the biggest plants in the facility—an ideal fit for someone as tall as he is, and it also happens to be one of his favorite strains to smoke. Its size and structure make the work easier, and its flavor keeps him reaching for it long after he clocks out.

When it comes to cultivation, Z-Pie is massive. Easily one of the largest plants in the building, it carries open, workable node spacing that gives Jason plenty of room to move through it. Around week 5 of flower, it starts emitting aggressively pungent aromas and begins to shift color, letting him know the swell is coming (his favorite point in Z-pie’s flowering phase). Watching it build mass, amplify its aroma, and show its true form keeps Jason captivated with Z-Pie.

Z-Pie is as fun to smoke as it is flavorful. A few tokes of the joint will coat the mouth with terpenes for a good half-hour, delivering a fruity, Pez-like sweetness with a creamy finish. It shines in glass and papers alike, but Jason swears it’s his favorite strain to roll. Jason likes that the joint stays tasty from spark to the very end, never dulling or dropping off.

Z-Pie has become one of Bosky’s in-house sweethearts, and Jason’s enthusiasm for it makes it obvious why it earned the spotlight this month.

Away from the grow, Jason’s creativity takes center stage. He’s a devoted fan of video games, especially No Man’s Sky, He brings that artistic energy into clay figurines and miniature statues he crafts by hand. At home, he’s a full-blown cat dad, proudly outnumbered by his cats.
