Ari, our NorCal Sales Executive, picked Cherry Zeltzer (Cherry Pie x Z x Biscotti), a cultivar she loves for the way it brings together some of her favorite genetics and terpene profiles. It leans big and gassy, but in a way that still feels inviting. She is especially drawn to the Biscotti dominance and the way the Cherry Pie and Z bring a sweetness that nearly meets the gas, making the profile feel friendlier on inhalation. There is a floral, dryer-sheet-like quality to it, but underneath that is a muskier, earthier gas that pulls more from its Biscotti lineage than anything overly sweet or loud for its own sake.
What stands out most to Ari is how completely the nose carries through to the taste. It is one of those cultivars that coats the palate with terpenes, leaving behind a flavor that feels full and consistent from start to finish. The sweetness is there, but not in that obvious Runtz-type way. It lands more in that peak 2019 era sweet spot, with a polished, sweet-gas profile that feels expressive without getting overly syrupy.
Visually, Cherry Zeltzer checks every box for her too. It has that glitter-covered kind of bag appeal, the kind of flower that always seems to look especially good on a phone camera, no matter the lighting or angle. Some cultivars just know how to show up, and this is one of them.
Outside of that, Ari loves rolling joints and blunts at events, getting time in the garden, and staying close to anything green. She has a greenhouse with more than 30 different cacti, spanning a wide range of varieties, and brings that same appreciation for detail to how she moves through the plant world. She also loves to travel, with Hawaii at the top of the list, and is especially into coastal hikes, with Point Reyes standing out as a favorite for its range of trails and shoreline views.
Also worth noting: Ari has what might be the most impressive glass rolling tip collection any of us has ever seen. We are incredibly grateful to have Ari on the team. She brings real care, taste, and presence to what we do, and Bosky is better because of it.
