Meet Lisa Tweedy – Chief Administrative Officer. This month, she’s choosing Kookieland (Dosidos Female) x King Kandy Male (Forum Cookies x Candyland)
Her roots in cannabis run deep. It started with family, growing up around plants with her brothers, a connection that’s never really left. That foundation turned into hands-on experience, running her own hydro store and building out multiple homegrow setups at once. Time spent in Humboldt in her youth helped sharpen her instincts and shape how she approaches the plant to this day.
After battling cancer, cannabis became something much more personal. It was reintroduced during chemo and played a real role in getting her through it. That experience brought her back to the plant with a different level of purpose and connection.
Kookieland is her pick for a reason. She’s always leaned toward green weed, and this one delivers exactly how she likes it. The taste is dialed, the smoke is smooth, and the high is prolific in the best way. It’s got presence, it doesn’t fade, and it delivers every time. She also helped take Kookieland to the F3 earlier this year.
Outside of work, Lisa stays connected to what keeps her grounded. These days, that means festivals and concerts with Ryan and her daughters; getting in the mosh pit and being in the moment. That same energy carries into time with Stephanie and Courtney, whether they’re 3D printing, exploring, or just taking it easy. Lisa also likes taking on 3D printing projects with Ryan, building out ideas that are both functional and creative, with family at the core of it all.
Lisa spent 15 years in higher education and teaching before the pull of the plant brought her back. Now, she’s seeing the industry in a completely different place, more open, more collaborative, and evolving in ways that weren’t possible before.
And for Women’s Month, it’s a reminder of the women who continue to shape this space with intention, resilience, and care. At Bosky, that presence is part of everything we do, showing up for the plant and growing it forward together.
